Why This Must Be Read: While short, this little fic gives the reader what many fans of "48 Hours" have wished for - a post-crisis encounter between Teal'c and Rodney McKay. Its very brevity ensures a tight focus and prevents any straying outside of what you can really imagine these two having to say to one another.janedavitt has a good ear for the voices of both characters and renders them with insight and accuracy without over-thinking the situation. Both Teal'c and Rodney are quite accurately rendered, resulting in a valid (and very cute) scene that could easily have been seamlessly appended to the episode.
