You do see the problem with this very teeny tiny list right? Cause I'm seeing it and for a moment I am going to slip back into my mean mod role (just for a moment) because dose of reality time.

We have one volunteer for a character category this month and there is a whole *lot* of character categories still available. Frankly with over 600 members we should have no trouble with getting all our categories full up. Instead, we have people (saints I tell you) constantly volunteering over and over which is good because, no volunteers and categories eventually go inactive.

I've said this one before and I'm saying it again. It's a minimum of four recs in a month guys. Four. That's one a week. You *can* do more yes, we love it when you do but you don't *HAVE* to do more than that.

Seriously guys, this community runs on its volunteers and right now it's more like a fast walk.

And a reminder, character recs can involve 'ship/slash pairings as long as the character you are reccing is one of them.

Come on guys, live a little! one rec a week, you can do it!

I volunteer to do Stargate Characters Other -

as long as it's alright if I sprinkle the Rec Luv among assorted secondary Characters rather than just pick one Other? E.g. I know a kickin' Siler/Harriman story, plus a Jake Carter one. Let me know.

Yep, you join to rec because you need to have posting permission.

We always used to say no WIPs but, honestly? if you warn that it is a WIP then go for it.

There really isn't. I'm a bit shocked. I can't remember the last time I went into this without a pre-arranged Sheppard/McKay or Jack/Daniel reccer. Normally those two categories, there's a list of at least four or five waiting people.

Oh, we always need somebody for them! That one was instituted when people asked for it but, *handwave* no one seems to use it! But believe me, if you wanna volunteer? (perhaps also recruit people for future months - we're like a rec cult you know *G*) I am *SO* not complaining *G*

We actually do have someone for Sheppard right now (I just went and checked the post for him) but *YES* we do take reservations in advance yep! See the link in the bottom of the post up there? (boy that came out weird) just nip up there, find the Shep/McKay page and the Sheppard page and leave a comment. Just "Ooh me!" or something. That way I'll know next time I cycle through and check who's volunteered. We *SO* need people in advance actually. You have no idea how reassuring it is to be able to sit down, check the volunteer posts and go "Yay! We're set for three or four months" on a particular category.
