Why This Must Be Read: This is actually only one part of a "Five things" fic, centered around Lorne and his team, but this has an interaction with Elizabeth that's just perfect. Despite that fact that it's from Lorne's POV, it's just as much about Elizabeth and the decisions she has to make and how they effect her as it is about him. It's poignant and beautiful, and perfectly in character. The author hits the perfect tone with this fic. Wonderful read.
