Why This Must Be Read: A post-Phantoms tag, this is a scene that takes place right after the end sequence as we have John and Teyla outside the cave waiting for the Daedalus to arrive to pick them up. They share a long conversation about his hallucination as he confides in her about his time in Afghanistan. It's a really nice look into their unique friendship and how he kind of relies on her for that emotional comfort and support that he needs.
