Why This Must Be Read: Short and so damn good - when Jane does this stuff well, she does it really, really well. Which can be embarrassing if you're, oh, in public. She skillfully walks a fine line here, introducing a hard edge to excellent characterizations that packs a hell of a punch for just 500 words. It's like a dessert so rich you've melted into a pile of goo with only a few bites. The actual 'kink' aspect is central, but relatively mild so don't let it deter you at all. It's the effect it has on Jack and Daniel that's... just, oh my god.
