Why This Must Be Read: Due to a little accident with some Ancient technology, we have a Second Lieutenant John Sheppard, a recent Air Force Academy graduate instead Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard, leader of the Atlantis military. We're given a look into the personality of John Sheppard and how's he changed from that goofy twentysomething to the enigmatic, kind of detached man that we know now. There's some fun comic interaction from all the characters (poor Lorne), and Teyla in particular, as the first thing that regressed!John thinks when he first sees Teyla is "hot alien babe girlfriend" and acting like, well the goofy twentysomething that he's been regressed to. In the end, everything works out and he's been restored to his right self, albeit slightly embarrassed of his actions, but we get very good John/Teyla friendship with a hint of a little bit more towards the end of the story. A very good read.
