Summary: Jack and Daniel take a wrong turn out of the Stargate and wind up on an alternate Abydos, but things aren't as similar, or as simple as one might think.

An angsty and interesting take on 'what if' that leaves you hurting for both Daniel and Jack. Debi C has written 9 stories in the Alternate Reality Series. It starts of Gen and moves to J/D slash, but this is an Alternate Reality so we also have Jack/Sam, Daniel/Janet at times. All are well worth a read, but this first one is a wonderful celebration of friendship as much as it is about romantic love.

Umm... as much as I enjoyed this story, I'd hate to tell you this and spoil the glowing review, but this isn't my story.

Meaning, I'm not "Debi C" just DebC, so I'm not this "Author on LJ" so to speak.
