Why this must be read:
This story is Jack at his best; noble, heroic and self-sacrificing. We see the smart, intelligent Oficer of the Uniter States Airforce, the one that spent years in Special Ops and has a phenomenal tactical mind. We see the Jack that only very rarely makes an appearance on the show.
This is an 'adventure of the week' type story which lets us see the usually hidden side of Jack O'Neill.
