Rec Category: Jack O'Neill
Pairing: There is a het background pairing (not involving Jack)
Category: Five Things, Jack
Warning: Aftermath/implications of canon death(s). Non-canon death
Author on LJ:
cofax7
Author's Website: alchemy mouldiwarps and coprophagy
Spoilers: It won't make sense unless you've seen: Meridian, Heroes, Threads, Avalon
Link: Five Promises Jack Has Never Broken (It's the 6th set down)
Why This Must Be Read: Yet another Five Things and again, very short. These, as implied by the title, go right to the heart of Jack O'Neill; we see the things that make him the man we admire. Funny, heartbreaking, simply Jack.
NB: Regarding the LJ Cut warning. If you were willing to read the story with information you can see, then it's very unlikely that what's behind the cut would make you reconsider. The stories are so very short that almost anything I say is a spoiler, but this one thing, I feel, takes away from the impact of the story in question. You might not like what happens in the story(ies), but they are good stories/insights, and well worth reading.
Rating: Story was unrated. I made a best guess. In this case, I'm almost tempted to say PG/Gen.
