Why This Must Be Read: This beautiful story must be read. It is poignantly heartbreaking and written without flamboyance. This story features only Daniel and Jack. It is essentially one scene. They are on the run so to speak and about to be caught. This story does not go into depth about what would happen to Daniel or Jack if there relationship was ever exposed. What it does do is detail the last sacred moments between Jack and Daniel as they say good bye to their time together. The words are woven without melodrama but hit the heart so hard it shatters. If you like angst then this is the story for you. I cannot say enjoy, because it hurts so much to read. But it is something to experience.
