Why This Must Be Read: One of the things that fascinate me about Ronon is the way that other characters react to him. We may not always learn much about Ronon, but we inevitably wind up gaining some insight into whomever he encounters. (His eyebrows also fascinate me. And his leather pants. And his other bits...we'll have a little chat about that later.)
I have always suspected (and hoped) that there was more to Teyla than the aloof and objective persona she projects, and
r_becca does a superb job of showing us just what kind of thoughts are churning beneath her serene exterior. Sure, Teyla appears all calm, cool and collected on the outside, but underneath it all she struggles to maintain her calm and lusts after gorgeous, possibly inadvisable men, just like you and me.
Well, perhaps you or I will never be in a situation where we must appreciate "the value of a teammate who is willing to shoot you in the back for your own good", but you know what I mean.
