Volunteer To Be A Rec'cer

I did add a link for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] to make sure that she caught those who have already volunteered. No one will lose his/her place in line.

Also, I put Janet Fraiser back as her own entry under characters. But I did move Jack/Janet to 'Het: Other' status. There were just no volunteers.

I am open to creating a Sam/Vala category, but I'll need proof of interest. Proof of interest= Requests in the 'Slash: Other' category to rec it. Basically that's how all categories get their own entries. It worked for Zelenka and Threesome. :)

So all future rec requests will be going directly to [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]

Now, just an FYI, this doesn't change who/how the comm is being run. I am still the owner. Basically, all the final decisions are mine. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] still runs situations through me before she communicates with others. She's the best 2IC ever!!!!

The chain of command runs like this...

Full Admin... (Day-to-Day decisions concerning the comm)

and then,

Partial Admin... (Volunteers, Taggers, Memories, Posting Access)

So that does it for the mid-month admin post. All the recs are looking great this month. You all do so much to keep this comm alive. I love it. Also, we're up to 520+ members now. I'm soooooooo tickled! But volunteer to rec!!!!!! Lots of categories open to rec! *g*

It would be so nice for there to be a Sam/Vala category, but I'm struggling to find a fourth fic to rec (otherwise I'd have volunteered for it again in a heartbeat!) .... :( Sad, but true!

I'm not much of a slasher, but I would love to see this as a category. We only have one f/f pairing with it's own category. I would love to have more. I'm hoping that now that they're having more screen time together that the pairing will pick up in popularity! :)

Yes, I'm hoping more people will start writing Sam/Vala. It's such a fun pairing! (Though let's not go into my favourite new AU Janet/Vala!!)

You don't have to wait. Put your name down and M will work around it, giving you three categories at a time, unless you want to do less. :)

Well I've put down for Sam/Cam and I think someone will get Cam before me so I should be up for Cam next month. Just can't decide if I want to do 2 categories this month...!

Oooooooooo, Sam/Cam, I love that category. *g* And I had to put Janet back up there. Her other pairing category is in danger of getting cut too, so I put her back because it's such a general category, I figured it may help us keep her around. :)

Thank you! It is hard work, but it is completely a labor of love, and more important now that the show has been cancelled... at least SG-1. It's going to take a lot of work to keep interest going for that side of the comm.
