Pairing: none
Category: Action/Adventure, Jack O'Neill, Team, H/C
Warning: Violence, Language

partly
Author's Website: unknown
Link: Necessary Sacrifices
Summary: Col. Jack O'Neill blacks out the base and then promptly disappears. What is Jack planning and what is he willing to sacrifice in order to accomplish that plan? Can the team find Jack before it's too late? What if it's already too late?
Why this must be read: Despite the fact that this story has Jack off all on his own, this story has very much a true team feel to it throughout. And if you like to see Jack O'Neill portrayed as the smart, capable officer that he is, then you should definitely enjoy this. The author does a nice job of showing the team's determination to find their errant leader without going OTT. Likewise, she has a good handle on Walter, Siler, Hammond, and Janet. The story flows well and the author has managed to make the team/SGC search as interesting to read as the exploits of the missing O'Neill. Right down to a very satisfying ending, I found this to be a very enjoyable read.
