Why This Must Be Read:
This is a lovely story that describes the Athosian celebration of 'halfnight' and what it represents for Teyla. There is some nice backstory for Teyla and a look at her more playful side, as well as a believable and in-character romantic encounter with John.

“John,” she answers and she means it as explanation and permission for them both. Halfnight. She would explain to him all meaning but she knows how careful she will always be with words. Tonight she wants to be child to the gods. To make noise in the woods.
