Why This Must Be Read: Helen has a remarkable gift for writing and AWW is no exception to that. The story begins with some of the personal ramifications of the darker events of Season 2, such as the whole 'Michael' situation. Elizabeth is struggling with her own doubts and troubles and it soon affects her intimate relationship with John. But when an accident happens with a newly-discovered Ancient device, she is thrust into a situation that grants her insight into just how John Sheppard came to be the man she knows.

Helen's rich descriptions of Elizabeth's taste of John's past are insightful and riveting. You don't want to miss a thing that goes on in this story!
