Why This Must Be Read: This fic was pointed out by starrylizard and it is Damn Good. Becket is an easy character to angst. The canon made it that way, and this fic is definitely angst-y, as many others around, but the good thing about it is that you see this group of men, copping with all the emo load the way men usually do in real life, so the story could fit an episode perfectly but you will find that the characters are more real and humans after this kind of stories.
Beckett’s attention focused suddenly on Sheppard. “What?”
“I just was thinking it would probably be a good idea for you to go through the gate a little more often. There’s a lot more to the Pegasus Galaxy than this infirmary.” He leaned back in the chair a little too nonchalantly. Beckett’s eyes narrowed.
“Aye, and I see it all from the comfort of a jumper when I visit the mainland every week to check on the Athosians.”
“Carson, you know what I mean. There is no feeling like stepping onto a world you’ve never seen before.”
Beckett gave him a skeptical look. “I’ll leave tha’ to ye to enjoy, then. I’m perfectly content here.”
“C’mon, Carson. It’d be good for you.”
“Why are ye so eager to get me through that cosmic blender again?” and he glared at Sheppard.
I know, I’m late…very late, almost didn’t made it in the month with the reccs and I’m deeply sorry about that, but you all know that real life tends to be difficult when you need it no to. *sight* any way, be prepared for a CARSON fic mini-spam.
