Why This Must Be Read:
Sometimes it’s only in leaving that we come to realize the value of what we’ve left behind.
This is a heart-warming, and heart-breaking, story set prior to S9. It's a quick glimpse at how much Jack O'Neill means to the members of the SGC, and how they decide to show their appreciation. I love this for the simple fact that we get to see Jack as more than the leader of SG1, instead we see him as the leader of the SGC, and being appreciated as such.
