Why This Must Be Read:

I love this gen fic. When I read this, I kind of wish that this is the way that some of Season 9 turned out. It's got a ton of characters in it and they're all blended in together in way that is plausible. And they are all in character, as well. This branches off sometime before Crusade and features the team dealing with the Ori, the IOC, and a group of people that are trying to possibly gain knowledge of the SGC's activites. This group of people have been going after Cassie, clone Jack, and other people that have relations with SG1. Everyone manages to get quality time within the plot.

The plot is also well devloped and has twists and turns to keep you guessing. The multiple story lines intersect in a way that's believable and interesting. It's also novel-sized so don't read this unless you have a good chunk of your time to spare. There's also a ship version of this fic, however I would recommend reading that after you read the gen version. Otherwise you may be spoiled for one of the biggest reveals in this story, just by the pairing. (And it's such a good reveal!)
