I'll be reccing Jack/Daniel BDSM fics in the BDSM/Non-con category this month. For my first set, an angsty pair of stories. Both deal with restrictions, internal and external, on Jack and Daniel's relationship. While they're not non-con, no one is happy with the circumstances, either.
Rec Category: BDSM/Non-con
Pairing: Jack/Daniel
Category: Slash, BDSM/Non-con, Angst
Warning: Slash, BDSM

Why This Must Be Read: This is what Komos does best -- takes one small scene, and with it describes the depths of a relationship, years worth of history. It's a moody painful description of what Daniel needs Jack to give him, what he can't allow Jack to give him, and the impacts on both of them. Though it's about a sexual, S/M relationship, it's far more about their emotions. The sex is offscreen, but the description of the aftermath is far more affecting than the hard-core scene would be.
Excerpt:
What they did, in Jack's basement, whenever Daniel came over with that soulless look in his eyes, should have been punishment. That would have made some kind of psychological sense. Expiation, catharsis -- something. But it wasn't.
What happened afterwards ... what never happened afterwards -- that was the punishment. Of him, and of Daniel. Jack accepted it as less than he deserved and no more than he could take.
