Good evening, everyone. I am your (extremely late) Sam/Daniel reccer for ... well, the whole summer. :) Hopefully, I will make up for my lack of attention with some excellent stories!

I'll try not to duplicate anything, but since dragonsinger has been reccing S/D fics for the Daniel category, I'll have to dig a little deeper than usual!

Summary: Sam's quiet night of introspection cuts short with an unexpected visitor.

Why this must be read: This was one of the first S/D stories I ever read, over on Statistical Outliers. It perfectly personifies what I love about the pairing - the friendship, with a small tense undercurrent. We have a Sam who struggles to balance her on and off base life, and a Daniel dealing with the still-raw loss of Sha're and her child. Rach's Sam voice is spot on. Definitely a must-read!
