Why This Must Be Read:

I'm almost reluctant to rec this because I can't believe there's anyone out there who hasn't read this fic. In fact, I'm almost tempted to skip this part and just tell you to read it!

This story takes place on Earth, where Jack is captured by one of his enemies who is out for revenge. He isn't tortured but rather drugged, causing his memories to be wiped. We then see Jack trying to deal with the dangerous world around him. And despite not knowing who he is, the qualities that make him Jack O'Neill shine through. I suspect that you'll need tissues for this one. And the ending? Completely Jack O'Neill.
