Why this must be read:

This is a beautiful piece that explores Teyla pre-series. It shows a Teyla that hasn't yet accepted the mantle of leadership but who is still aware of her responsibilities to her people. katie_m really captures Teyla's voice and it is wondurous to see a younger, more innocent Teyla who is still essentially herself. In this story we see what might have happened to shape and mold Teyla into the wonderful woman we love today.
