Why This Must Be Read: I know that this just has to have been recced before, but I looked and I couldn't find it, which is a tragedy. This story unfolds beautifully and Radek and Rodney have that lovely ascerbic banter that makes them such a wonderful pairing, bonding over Ancient tech, and a jealous John that will break your heart. Radek is snappy and adorable and puts Rodney in his place before getting to work together, which I adore.

And! Bonus, if you just can't leave the story where it is, or you just want porn, there is smoking hot John/Rodney/Radek threesome in the sequel, If There Be Thorns by astolat.
