Why This Must Be Read: The story opens with the line "Well this is a cliche!". And yet, whilst the situation that are characters find themselves in may well be considered a cliche to many, the story is written so well that it doesn't matter! McKay and Weir find themselves stuck in a transporter. I think what I like best in this is McKays insecurity, most people would say he uses his sarcasm and ego to hide this most of the time, but he probably is deep down insecure about thing, espicially women, and it is shown really well here when he feels that his prescene alone in the transporter must clearly be what is the most annoying thing to her in this situation!
And, I ca just imagine McKay letting slip about his feelings for her in this slightly less then friendly manor. Even with the angst, it still makes you smile in the end :)
