Why This Must Be Read:

The story is a character study on Teal'c...and how he feels a bit lost now the Goa'uld are defeated. Where is his role? Where is his home? The reader follows Teal'c's thoughts as he wanders the SGC.

Moonshayde uses scent and visions to segue into ghosts of memories for both Teal'c and the reader. Memories are soon replaced by encounters with old friends...and interactions with some new ones. The dialogue is witty; the characters are true. Teal'c's maudlin and bittersweet thoughts are juxtaposed by light banter and teasing among the various familiar friends.

Teal'c's encounter with Jack is the most compelling, but the presence of Daniel and Landry brings some smiles and surprises as well.

Fans of Teal'c should adore this fic... and come on, who doesn't love the big guy, just a little? This fic has shout outs to SG-1 members (and Janet) for S1-9, so readers shouldn't be disappointed!
