Why This Must Be Read: This is a Zelenka rec, so I won't tell you how completely, utterly adorable Rodney is when he must resort to drawing stick figures of people to communicate because he can't talk, but I will tell you that the first stick figure he draws is Radek. When I get into a situation that's just beyond what I can tolerate, I want my mommy; Rodney wants Radek, and as it turns out, Radek is the only one who can help him solve the problem.

In addition, this story has one of my all time favorite lines ever, which has stuck with me since I first read it:

Radek had the sudden thought that Rodney knew Radek had been carrying a kind of pathetic torch for him ever since they'd arrived in Atlantis and was going to punch him.

You can't beat social retardation like that. You just can't. Unless you're Rodney.
