The comm has been very silent lately.. Eagerly awaiting when the Reccers will be reccing Stargate fics!!

There are still plenty of recc's open.

Each person can apply for all 3 of the recc categories I'm going to allow here.

This is going to be a monthly comm. The reccers right now will recc for a month then hand over what they have been reccing and pick something new. If you were the Jack/Paul reccer you can try again for next month. Or I'll ask you to recc again if no one applies for that certain category.

There are a lot of Genre categories still open. I have only gotten one recc in about 3 days… I update the categories taken the second someone takes it.. ::points at link on the side:: oooo easy access, the template is on the side. PLEASE USE IT!! I have seen many people not putting the title and rating in the subject line. This makes it harder for me to put it in the memories. I have to go back and find the rating and the title.. Please follow the template…

April 27 is when the reccing will explode! That's the date I'm locking up the comm. Pimp to your friends. If you know someone that would be REALLY good at reccing something drag them over here!

Hopefully next week will be less chaotic for me, now that I've finally gotten my massively huge art portfolio finished...and then I'm going to start reading and reccing!

The monthly thing might get complicated though...since I know some people only read certain types of fics. Will people be able to keep the categories they have and just choose whether or not they want to switch? Or do we have to switch at the end of the month?

Everyone must switch if someone applies for the category they currently hold.

I'm sorry but we can't have the same reccer all the time it will get very boring.

It's not going to be the end of this month but the end of next month so this reccing round will be much longer. To account for the fact this comm is quite young and will need time to grow.

Everyone is so busy right now, which is why the reccing term is longer and the two week deadline before the comm officially opens

Oh, so we just loose the spot if someone else is interested in it? That's fine. I thought you meant we'd all be forced to do something else no matter what. ;) I assume this also means, if all your reccing categories are asked for by other people for that month, and you don't have any other categories you want to rec at that time, you get the month off?

I actually do like this system. Makes it easier if I know I'm gonna have a busy month. I thought it would be like "Okay, end of month, everybody switch!" Instead it's like, "Well so-and-so wants to do this cat. this month, but this cat. has no claims on it, so you can still do that, and if you're not interested in anything else right now, you just get a lighter workload."

it's a Sam and Jack romance story and I think the rating is PG-15 or something, because of sexual situations (as in kissing). =)

You can apply at a later time for June, because that is when reccers will be switched.
