Why These Must Be Read:

Normally, I wouldn't rec two fics in one post, but these are both short fics that when read together, tell a lot about Rose McKay (aka femme!Rodney McKay). They show how Rose is the same McKay we know and love -- a llittle bit arrogant, confident of her own intelligence and abilities, somewhat insecure, somewhat paranoid, but with a huge caring heart underlying all of it.

Also extremely enjoyable is the interaction between Rose and Carson, which (to me) feels as realistic as if it were on the show every week.
