Why This Must Be Read: Daniel in Command of SG-1 is a really interesting concept that works great in a Crossover, after all who could possibly replace the original members of SG-1? Using the much loved characters from the Sentinel (well, loved as far as I'm concerned) the writers of this series did a wonderful job capturing the essence of all the characters. The main story is Gen, but there are slash interludes so you can read all the subtext you want into the main stories, or blissfully ignore it. Works really well in my mind. While there are only 2 main stories there's a wealth of "fanfic" for the universe that add to the enjoyment factor.
