stargateficrec has a lot of fic moving through it, if all goes well it does, and we know our reccers have a very busy schedule so rather than make you all tag every entry we have several volunteers who do it for them.

Which means that the people who are reccing for whatever categories do not need to be doing any tagging of their entries. Just fill out the template with your rec and post it, the tag volunteers will do the rest.

This, by the way, is not a voluntary issue. Reccers can't choose to tag or not to tag. We have a specific list of tags that are used and these volunteers know these tags, the people who are reccing usually do not. Therefore the rule is simple.

If you're reccing, don't tag your entries.

You might think you're helping (and bless you for thinking that) but really, what you're going is creating more work for the people who actually tag.
