Well. I'm running a day late and a dollar short as the saying goes, but I'm here and I've come bearing a rec.

A Tongue with No Cognates is a post Fallen/Homecoming gem that's one of my favorites. It's Jack, trying to help Daniel remember and coming up with a very Jack-like way of doing it. It's the banter that makes me like this story, along with the easy nature of Jack and Daniel's friendship. Even with Daniel's memory gone, these two guys get along. Daniel trusts Jack even though he doesn't remember why and Jack just lets the situation flow, letting Daniel remember at his own pace, even when he tries to help things along.
