Why This Must Be Read:

A few years back, I hosted a fic contest over at SJFic. As soon as I received this entry, I just knew it would win. It's that powerful. I opened the voting, and yep this piece came in a clear winner. It's set a year after a certain death, and it's raining. Feedback called it "heartbreaking, yet beautiful," "bittersweet," "touching" and "wonderfully moving." To be honest, I was stunned to not find it in the memories section for this category already.

It's a shame Aud doesn't write more, but unlike me she actually has a life *g*
