I love the imagery of this fic, the color red how it goes from a negative to a positive. The unspoken feelings of John/Elizabeth and the way she makes the most innocent of touches seem intimate.
He stands in front of her - not touching, never touching - but he watches her intently, his face close to her own, and the touching they can’t see, doesn’t count.
