Why This Must Be Read:

This is graphic and hot, but far from "just a PWP" - the character dynamics are intense and plausible. littleheaven70 doesn't need to sentimentalize them or twist either of them out of character to get them into bed, and she's not afraid to hit Daniel where it hurts:

He was just about to pop the lid on one of the boxes when he heard Vala say, in a strange voice, “Amonet. That’s the Goa’uld who took your wife?”

A little shiver prickled down Daniel’s spine. He turned to Vala, who was staring into his wallet, at the picture of Sha’re he still kept in there. “You recognize her?”

Glad you enjoyed it! I think characterization is a big factor in fic hotness - fics that read as "Any Two People" tend to bore me.
