Why This Must Be Read:
This story is beautifully written and the nonlinear story telling works. There's no confusion and by the end you'll want to read it again that is if you can still see through the tears. John, Rodney, and Elizabeth are all very much in character. Its told from John's POV which works so well. Don't let the character death scare you off because its bittersweet.
It will not be a happily ever after, but it will be close enough.
