This is *the* must-read fic for anyone who's ever wished that Daniel and Sha're could've had a happy ending, and for anyone who ever preferred Mili Avital's Sha'uri to Vaitare Bandera's Sha're. It takes a "sharp left turn" just before the end of "Forever in a Day" and details Sha'uri's struggle to win back her freedom from Amaunet. It's gut-wrenchingly emotional, rivetingly well-paced, and if you ever had any doubts about how much Daniel and Sha'uri adored each other, it will put them to rest. Even if you 'ship Daniel with someone else...Sam, Janet, whoever...you can't help but root for him and his wife in this one. And the best part is that it's not in vain, like it was in the series.
