Summary: This one is not a kidfic of the "X gets turned into a child" variety, more of a pre-movie/series AU where Jack & Sara live next door to Daniel's interim foster home right after his parents died.

Why This Must Be Read: It’s really sweet, mainly because Jack goes from "I don't like kids" to "can we keep him?" – he's usually portrayed as loving kids in general, so his indifference (almost hostility) is something new.
