Daniel will only put up with so much -OR- how to alienate an archaeologist.


Why This Should Be Read:

I read this story several months ago and while I admit that it was a VERY difficult story for me to read (due to the torment poor Daniel is forced to endure...) I believe it is well worth reading. Simmons approaches Hammond with a plan to expose a leak in the SGC. Simmons believes the leak to be Daniel and thus proposes a most twisted way to draw him out (so to speak). The team is forced to be...well, to put it bluntly, very cruel towards Daniel. Simmons' reasoning is that if you push a man too far he may become desperate enough to act out against those he has sworn to protect.

I'll leave it at that so as not to give much else away. The story is very intense and contains some very frustrating/emotional scenes that pull the reader in and hook them to the very end. Kalimyre is one of the newer authors in the fandom and has produced several remarkable stories. This is just one of many. Enjoy! : D
