Why This Must Be Read: Rodney knows John. And that's got to be terrifying and wonderful all at the same time for Mr. "Move along, there's nothing to see here." Lyr's story masquerades as a vignette in which Rodney and John watch a really bad sf movie and make out, but it skirts deftly along deeper issues without making the two of them sound like fourteen-year-old girls. Plus, Lyr gives very good Rodney rant. *vbg*
