The story opens offworld. While the scene itself is hot - I've never looked at blue paint in quite the same way since - it's the evocative language that I love. It's a haze, heavy with sensual impressions and possibilities. Unfortunately, Jack O'Neill, colonel in this man's air force, isn't ready to accept that the object of his lust returns those feelings. This dose of reality is like the sun, burning off the languid, sensual haze to reveal hard, swift action when the team returns to Earth. This fic is extraordinarily hot; if you find yourself with the urge to paint your bedroom blue, you'll know why.
