Why This Must Be Read:
The companion piece to Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell Is The Biggest Fanboy In The UNIVERSE (which has already been recc-ed here), this is just as funny, well-written, embarrassing (in a good way), and alarmingly plausible (anyone want to argue that Cameron doesn't have a big crush on SG-1? Thought not):
He can picture it—alien wine, alien customs, alien priestess—and hell, why did they have to end up with the Priors? He comes in hearing every alien priestess story ever, and who does he meet? Ancient blind guys. It's not—
—this is kind of a sore point, sometimes.
Oh, and did I mention hot? Like a hot thing?
