Admin: Tag, Memory, and Affiliate Communities

A bit of business that is NOT related to Posting Access.

Tags-- We now have three volunteers to do the tagging for the entries. It would be nice to have a backup in case someone can't do it for a month or so. Just send me an email (angelsgracie @ livejournal . com) if you're interested.

Memories-- We have two of the three volunteers we need for putting the entries into memories. It would be nice to have a backup for this as well. Send me and email if you'd like to volunteer for this too.

Affiliates-- I was just looking at the user info and I knew there are more Stargate oriented comms out there. If you own or maintain a comm and would like to be an affiliate, email me. All I really require for it is to put [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] on the userinfo for your comm and I will do the same for your comm on our userinfo.

And that's it. January is now up and running! Whee!

I see you've listed the tag volunteers in the sidebar but I'm not certain yet which category to tag. I'm happy to start on it once I know which category you want me to do. If it makes any diff, my recs seem to be in the genre field, I'd be happy to tag those though I have no real preference. If someone has a burning desire to tag genre recs, I'd be happy to tag something else.

I haven't sent out the email to do that yet. It's going to take a little while for me as the email to explain how I wanted recs put into memories took over a half hour to type up. Just please be a bit patient and I should be able to get that out this weekend. I haven't forgotten, it's just quite a process. *g*

Ah! Yeah, I did all of that when I made the changes for the Memory volunteers. I will do the email for the tags this weekend. I've not done much with tags so I need to organize my thoughts better. Hee! I don't want to ramble on, only to reveal that I don't know what I'm talking about. *g*
