Why This Must Be Read: Clichéd plots became clichés because they are so satisfying when in the hands of a master, as this "telepathy/morning after amnesia/alien alcohol kinda made 'em do it" story proves. Part of the fun in this fic is watching Jack's struggle with the Daniel-think going on in his head before the tone darkens a bit as Daniel angsts over the Jack-think in his head and the two men struggle to come to a mutually beneficial understanding. A twisty ending leaves you with the question of what will happen for the two men in the future.

Author’s Summary: Jack and Daniel wake up in bed together. (Yes, I'm just working through the cliches here.)
