Why This Must Be Read: An angsty fic in which Daniel is the older man. That alone is a novelty worth reading - the switch from Daniel’s usual role of ‘younger man’ is refreshing - but it’s also much more than that. This is a Daniel who knows what he wants and goes after it.

Daniel and Aiden connect from the first time they see each other during a briefing. Their attraction erupts into a heated affair but duty and fear separate the lovers. This fic ends in a sad place but fortunately the author has written a sequel, Imperfect, in which Daniel finally gets to travel to the Pegasus Galaxy and helps Aiden cope with the aftermath of his experience with the Wraith.

Author’s Summary: Daniel unexpectedly finds perfection in the arms of a young lover, till fate intervenes to divide them.
