Rec Category: Sam/Daniel
Pairing: Sam/Daniel
Category: Angst, sort of Unrequited
Warning: Het, spoilers for Reckoning from season 8
Author on LJ: Her LJ is empty.
Author's Website: None.
Link: Quid Pro Quo
Why This Must Be Read: This is a really wonderful look at the episode Reckoning from a Sam/Daniel romantic angle. Especially the mind battle between Daniel and Replicator Sam. It's a lovely helping of angst as Repli-Carter peels away the desire in his mind and then torments him with it. Daniel finds out things he would rather not know about someone he considers a good friend, and things that cut him to the core considering the feelings for her that he has buried deep.
It's a story by an author who has only surfaced a few times in the Stargate fandom, and her work is sort of hidden among the archives of the S/D Rebellion Yahoo list. She gave me permission to post her work a while ago, and I think it's worthy of being shown to the masses. ;)
