Why This Must Be Read: One thing that the show is famous for, or infamous, is its lack of a wrap up. Lack of a nice warm and fuzzy ending. Death Knell is yet another example of this, and this fic addresses this 'lack'.
The story is from Jack's pov, but does delve into what happened after the episode faded to black, getting Sam home and getting her some medical treatment.
It's one of those that certainly could go on for longer, but does also last just long enough to give folks a nice fix of some comfort after all that hurt.
Folks that don't like Sam/Jack might not care for it, but for those that don't mind that pairing or friendship, this is a fun little smarmy piece.
