Why This Must Be Read: The author lists this as a PWP, but it's much more than that. This is a first person POV in which Janet reflects on her role as an NID agent (I'm not giving anything away by that). It is a unique and alternative take on Janet's relationships with those close to her at the SGC, and especially with Sam: why they got together, and why they're still together. This story left me tingly the first time I read it.
