Rec Category: Crossover (JAG)
Category: Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Novel, OC
Pairing: none, except in the mind of a psycho
Warning: Graphic DARKFIC – non-con, torture, psychological trauma, major character death
Author on LJ: unknown
Author's Website: unknown
Why This Must Be Read: This is a great story to be read in horrified fascination, with the most sadistic and mentally unstable original character I have ever seen/read. The fic has a series of gruesome twists that make you wonder whether now would be a good time to curl up in a blanket and ignore the increasingly convoluted plot, but somehow it all makes sense in the end and is worth seeing through.
On the downside: to be honest, I still can’t think of a really good reason why this is a crossover. Maybe the author chose someone from JAG because there’s already a very prominent OC, I don’t know. The only problem I can see from this choice is that USAF officers would generally be defended by AF-JAG attorneys, right? Either way the story doesn’t lose anything by it, and there’s little need to develop that particular character.
