Why This Must Be Read: This is my favorite Sam/Teal'c fic ever. It's not a ship fic, but it demonstrates the power of the bond between Sam and Teal'c. The whole fic is a work of art, bringing to light parallels that I never saw before. It channels Teal'c's grief over a loss of an individual and Sam's loss of an individual and weaves a story that is both moving and heartbreaking. I highly recommend this story.
