Summary: When an accident strands SG-1 in a nightmare alternate reality, they must find a way home before it's too late. However, an unlikely obstacle stands in their path. His name is Daniel Jackson.

Why This Must Be Read: For some reason, the idea of an evil Daniel scares me. The fact that Jack and Teal'c don't have squeaky clean pasts is a given, and RepliCarter showed what a dark version of Sam could do, but Daniel's usually the SGC's incorruptible bastion of ethics. This Daniel isn't exactly evil, but he's certainly been twisted by circumstances and as far as he's concerned this is the way it's meant to be. Scary.
